Create a bold and dynamic brand identity for POCCA, a Disc Golf apparel brand, embodying an ethos of modernity, performance, and inclusivity.
BRIEF
POCCA is the only disc golf apparel brand bringing modern aesthetics and superior functionality to the course, and they needed a brand that would show that to their audience.
We needed to define POCCA from the ground up, discovering their true story, their values, mission and purpose as a brand before identifying their audience and distilling everything into a beautiful brand identity that would put them at the forefront of performance sportswear.
Bold clean lines illustrate Pocca’s refined and modern values whilst the smooth rounded corners of the strokes give the logo its more friendly and casual appeal.
The logo mark uses the round edge of the ‘P’ to illustrate a disc moving through the air. This gives the brand a subtle visual cue of disc golf without openly shouting about it, The slanted angle and tail lines give the mark a strong kinetic feel displaying Pocca’s vision to progress the sport forward.
